These butterflies are part of a project on my social media accounts meant to symbolize innocence, gentle femininity, confidence, hope being violently shattered, and then rebuilt into something stronger and more beautiful, while also sharper, more vigilant, and forever changed.
Shipped via USPS in white cardboard box with eco-friendly bubble wrap and often repurpose tissue paper.
All glass pieces hand crafted by me in my small glass studio in Buffalo, NY. I used a lot of tools passed down from my grandparents and great grandparents along with a small annealing kiln passed down from my great aunt.
